So Christmas has come and gone, the New Year is just around the corner, and I've become pensive, contemplating the year past and the year to come. I have to say, this year has been really hard. I'm not one to focus on the negative, but it's hard not to when it just flies in your face so aggressively and persistently.

On the other hand, I've found that some of the more amazing and beautiful aspects of life have been clamoring for my attention as well, they're just not as persistent; you miss the beautiful things, and they're gone.

Sometimes beauty can be overwhelming. So I share with you my hope that this next year will be better than the last, and that the joys and beauties of life overwhelm you, cause your heart to race, inspire you, and make you wish to live life to its fullest.
